I have been into roots music scene for 25 years. My first commercial recording was released on Hi Hat label in year 1981- the group was called Red Hot and the style was rockabilly. Soon I began interested in bluegrass music and played in various groups. In the late eighties I formed The Lake Country Boys which toured in United States and Sweden and of course my native Finland. LCB released the first Scandinavian bluegrass CD "Empty Mansions" in 1993.
In 1995 I started my current bluegrass group Jussi Syren And The Groundbreakers, which have been touring all over Europe and United States. The Groundbreakers succeeded to bring bluegrass into mainstream in Finland playing in rock clubs and jazz festivals and having heavy radioplay and chart success. The Groundbreakers has released four albums and their recordings have got radiotime in 20+ countries.
I have two other groups as well: Jussi Syren Rockabilly Revival and Ranch Riot. Jussi Syren Rockabilly Revival will have their second CD project out in early 2007. Hard core country group Ranch Riot has no releases out, but has been lucky to tour in United States and Scandinavia backing up such greats as Hank Thompson and female rockabilly/country star Marti Brom.

I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
Thanks

rare stories from the artists themselves. Catch

Ricky Nelson), Richie Frost (Ricky Nelson), Steve Handford (Bobby Lee
Trammell), Tony Austin (Rock and Roll Trio), Stanley Walker (Ray Smith), Bobby
