   About Justin Douglass
Justin Douglass' new song "Thompson's Prison Blues" has it right! "When the train left the station, it took the wrong guy" Justin Douglass is a Milwaukee area singer/songwriter and a frustrated Green Bay Packer fan. In the ongoing feud between the Packer faithful, he takes the position that the release of Brett Favre was one of many foolish personnel decisions made by the Packer organization and the most glaring mistake in light of the Vikings recent success with Farve as their quarterback. While still a Packer fan, he is not a fan of current Packer management team Ted Thompson, Mike McCarthy, and Mark Murphy, and wrote the song “Thompson’s Prison Blues” with the help of his wife Linda as a response to this sorry situation. The song is based upon an old Johnny Cash tune with a few notable twists including use of a 1938 Dobro slide guitar for an subtle train whistle effect. The song also gives legs to the growing movement of Packer fans torn between blindly following Packer brass and their current course of action, and those who look forward to a future beyond “Thompson’s Prison”.
