About me:
I'm a recent transplant to San Diego from Philly. My fiance and I are enjoying SoCal for a bit, learning to surf, snorkeling and swimming as much as possible. Planning a wedding in April at the beautiful El Cortez in downtown SD. We like to bike and hike around many of the trails in North County. We like to go out to see live, local music, so if you know of any good local bands, let us know.
I'm a libertarian and love to talk politics, especially with rational people that disagree with me. I'm a big fan of Ayn Rand, they're making Atlas Shrugged into a movie due out in 2010. I'm currently reading Philip Roth, "The Plot Against America." It's a very good read, I've enjoyed many of his books.
I'm hopeing for an earthquake so I can experience one. I know this sounds a bit weird, especially to my fiance', but I'm sticking to it. As long as it's small, I think it would be cool.

Who I'd like to meet:
Local bands, mainly Rock and ALternative. Discgolfers, I try to play in Balboa Park as much as I can and I'm always up for golfing partners. Surfers that are good at teaching, I'm not doing very good in my attempts to learn. Bikers, hikers, swimmers, tennis players, generally active people, but not too active. We're not in the best of shape, but trying to get there. Libertarians, or people that want to discuss politics. Nothing better in my opinion that a few beers and a good, sometimes heated, but not disrespectful, political conversations. I like to debate and I don't take it personal.
