INTO ART WITH THE BATTLE OF NOISE
10-4-07
The new album, Into Art with the Battle of Noise, is complete! A few songs are up already. The new album is an unorthodox blend of digital synths, 1970s home organ and fuzzed out drum machines. Melodies weave in and out, reverse themselves and slowly vary themselves until unrecognizable. This is an ass-kicking, hallucinogenic album.

ALBUMS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE
The Foster Children have two albums up for sale.
The new album is Into Art with the Battle of Noise; the old one is Our Fates Seem Permanently/Childhood. Battle of Noise is essentially an electronic album, though unlike any that you've ever heard. Our Fates/Childhood is actually a combination of an electric LP and acoustic EP. Much more based in folk and rock music than electronic, though shades of the new material come through at times.
For free copies of either, send an email to thefosterchildren@gmail.com and we can figure out whatever works best for you.
Don't forget to come out and support the doggies and incredible local and regional up and coming talent at Dogstock-The Musical Celebration of the Dogs August 14-17 ... Only $60 donation per car for all four days and nights including park by camping on 81 beautiful shady acres of Osage County Kansas private property located between Pomona Lake and Melvern Lake! Only an hour from KC, Lawrence, Topeka and the bargain of the year. All talent, sound and lights are donated thanks to many caring musicians, techs and other volunteers to benefit the AARF Humane Sanctuary.
My compute-OR is not working, or is "selectively working" at the moment. Until I can afford the parts I need, I'm stuck with the viao, which refuses to run certain Facebook-thingies. Give me a yell on here.
for some closure on all this pondering, could you sing "Last Dance with Mary Jane" in WS sometime?
whatever the outcome, i swear i won't make fun of your hair.
At the Activism Forums they're having a contest. The poster with the most amount of posts by May 1 wins $100! (Second place gets $50.) Joining the forums is free, so join now and start posting for a chance to win.
This is about more than a chance to win a prize. We need to get active!
Oh, Jt. I would be great, except I found my obese dog in my room eating a candy bar which I found impossible to pry from her shriveled canine lips. I gave her a good yelling. Other than that, today is a no-good day for me. Life, on a more vast plane, is much less bleak than the grey skies today.
Jay-tizzle, I thank you, the good sir that you are, for your comment! My, my, my, it has been quite the while, hasn't it? Ahhh, I chuckle at our times past.
Oh, JT. I still haven't gotten my hands on that cd of yours. We should change that asap.
Also remember
when you leave here
that there's still a painting waiting for you in your mailbox back in Lawrence. It's probably soggy but that's how I like my art.
