Captain Kirk Celebrity Impersonator's Comedian Bio
Bio
A little over 40 years ago the original "Star Trek" debuted on NBC. Today, "Star Trek" is bigger and even more popular with a handful of spin offs, several films, a galore of books and conventions all over the place! Wow!
For years, the public has seen Elvis all the way up to Charlie Chaplin impersonators, but never Captain Kirk? Why? Captain Kirk is a television icon! Captain Kirk would be a hit at any event. You don’t have to be a fan of "Star Trek" to ID William Shatner as Captain Kirk. William Shatner is a television icon!
Lennon primarily portrays Captain Kirk/William Shatner as he was in the original 1960’s "Star Trek" television series. Appearing at any occasion, he flirts with the ladies, entertains the crowd with out of this world humor, and performs comedy acts with his replica props. Lennon was a professional actor in his youth (mostly commercials) and today has been entertaining audiences for all occasions for all different ages.
Lennon considers it an honor and a privilege to do what he does. Why? William Shatner made a big impact to the world of "Star Trek" as his performance as Captain Kirk and to perform as this legendary television icon on different occasions is a honor and keeps the spirit of "Trek" alive. He doesn’t do this because he thinks he will be as great or as famous as William Shatner, but does this because he simply loves to entertain people. He does this because he is a HUGE admirer of William Shatner the actor and the character of Captain James T. Kirk as played by WILLIAM SHATNER.
