Admittedly geeky guy stuff: long walks in Old St. Charles and the Loop, cooking and dining out, writing, baseball, comic books, videogames, movies, wrestling, 80s pop music, cooking and dining out, shopping, action figures. I'm more fun than it sounds! ;)Music
This could be a LONG list, but the ones I listen to the most lately would include: Sting, Crowded House, Robert Palmer, Depeche Mode, New Order, Ice Cube, Ice T, Barenaked Ladies, Bruce Springsteen, Alice In Chains, Motorhead, The Killers, Scissors Sister, Puddle of Mudd, Foo Fighters, Liz Phair, Paul Simon, Duran Duran, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Stone Temple Pilots, The Eagles, Type O Negative, Emuir Deodato, Jim Byrnes, Mike Rimmey, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes and Los Straitjackets.Movies
Boondock Saints, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, the Original Star Wars Trilogy, Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Natural, Eight Men Out, Field of Dreams, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Bourne Identity, The X-Men and Spider-Man franchises, most "Epics" like Troy or Kingdom of Heaven--though probably not actually Troy--Eric Bana was really good, but the rest of it was average at best, Pirates of the Caribbean, the original Manchurian Candidate, Mr. Smith Goes To Washington, The Third Man, Ninja Scroll, House of Flying Daggers, Hero, Legend of Drunken Master, Strang Brew, My Cousin Vinny. .. width="425" height="350">........>Television
Books
American Gods by Neil Gaiman, pro wrestling autobiographies, especially Ric Flair and Freddie Blassie. Been meaning to dig into the Lord of the Rings. Oh yeah, ANYTHING Stephen Lawhead writes is gold. It's usually historical fiction, like King Arthur or the Crusades. Fritz Leiber's Lahnkmar stories are awesome too.Heroes
Anyone who's willing to speak the truth even if it's not in their best interest or what people want to hear. And Nikola Tesla, the forgotten genius. I'm also a big fan of Shoeless Joe Jackson and Arizona Senator John McCain. And Jesse Ventura...that's enough for now, eh?

Who I'd like to meet:
Someone who shares ANY of my interests, but bonus points for ladies who like wrestling and have all of their teeth. A sports/movies/dining nut with a good sense of humor would be great. And I'm a sucker for redheads, but I'm convinced redheads only come in two varieties: really hot, and really not. Your results:You are Malcolm Reynolds (Captain)

Honest and a defender of the innocent. You sometimes make mistakes in judgment but you are generally good and would protect your crew from harm. ![]() |

I'm thinking we go to Bombay Cafe in OFallon this year for our annual holiday lunch. I tried it at Taste of St. Chuck and it was not bad..not bad at all.

It's the least I could do. I cannot tell you how often I am reading a post on FJM and laugh out loud.
Two things:
1. Tre is engaged.
2. I know it's supposed to be the noise of pouring gin and/or juice when the Richard Cheese songs starts up, but it always sounds like somebody taking a piss.
