'What I like about this the solo debut of JTLockwood, titled
"A Chance For Change," is that its not at all what you'd expect from an artist in the singer-songwriter genre - in short, this lad rocks!'
Lucky Clark, Blethen Maine Newspapers
"I have been playing J.T. Lockwood's debut CD regularly on WCLZ- FM. In addition to some very radio-friendly songs, the CD is very well produced and he has a killer backing band!"
Charlie Gaylord WCLZ, Portland Maine

JT Lockwood has long had a passion to turn life and love into a seamless stream of smart and sensitive lyrics. He pairs his lyrics with his own unique interpretation of acoustic driven pop. At times happy and delightful, and other times brooding and meaningful, Lockwood's songs are a direct reflection of his experiences of age and relationships. The 27-year old Central Maine native has invested nearly a decade in pursuit of music. With influences like The Beatles, Bob Dylan and Dave Matthews, being a performer is something JT has always desired. "My older brothers had guitars around the house, so I would always see them playing." he said. It was with this influence that he became enthralled in watching, playing and creating music. With the constant ambition for growth through his art, JT Lockwood doesn't stop writing. His songs are a release. They speak of life and love, mistakes made and lessons learned. They come when there is something he needs to say. JT Lockwood's solo debut album, A Chance for Change, was released in April 2006. With 2 full length albums already behind him from his years in a hardworking band he helped create, JT transitioned to pursuing his musical ambitions on his own. On what makes writing music special, he said "My favorite part is when my songs can somehow touch other people."
It was good to hear the finished band for the first time. All the new stuff you boys are doing is really coming together and your fun to watch. Good mix love ya
