Creation of Singer/ Guitarist/ Dancer JT Nolan, The Lovely and Talented exist as a dynamic package of genre blending style and sound. Joined by Singer/ Pianist/ Accordionist/ Dancer Kate Shoup, Drummer David Petry and Electric Bassist Matt Skellenger, The Lovelies fuse international influences of Samba, Bolero and Gypsy Swing into American Folk, Blues and Old Time Jazz. Accompanied by tap dancing, the Lovelies implement the best of rhythms from all over the world. This powerful combination of styles and genres have been described as unclassifiable, sophisticated porch music and what can now be recognized uniquesly as the Lovely and Talented.
