Josh Jordan, known better as J.Trill, was born in Tifton, GA, J grew up watching successful artists such as T.I. grow from being unknown rap artists into being international music icons. It was T.I.'s rise to fame perhaps that was most instrumental in making him want to pursue the spotlight himself. At a very early age, J.Trill began writing and developing his own style of hip-hop music. While in high school, J wrote and recorded a song entitled "Devil Walk" for the school's football team. The song received so much local support that it helped establish his name regionally as a powerful new urban music artist & songwriter. Building on the momentum from "Devil Walk", J.Trill was asked to be a part of the remix to the Heizman Boyz song "Do the Heisman" which also featured hip-hop artist Fabo. After the Heisman remix, J.Trill met EMI Music Publishing VP Jake Ottmann who took an interest in one of J.Trill's songs called "So Bright". It was with Ottmann's help that "So Bright" was featured on MTV's popular reality series "Taking the Stage". The feature was met with rousing fan enthusiasm and helped gain thousands of new fans for J.Trill. Not long after the MTV feature, J.Trill met Virginia-based producer Gordon "H.U.M.P." Humphrey. H.U.M.P. has worked with some of the hottest producers in music today including Timbaland & Nate "Danjahandz" Hills. H.U.M.P. has recently produced tracks for hip-hop legend Kool G Rap's upcoming projects including his 5th solo album entitled "Riches, Royality & Respect". After linking up with H.U.M.P., J.Trill relocated to Virginia to work closely with him on his first studio album. Currently, the first J.Trill studio album is in progress – and new classics are being created daily. The goal of his first album is to give the music business something it hasn't had in recent memory – a hip-hop album crammed with nothing but radio & chart focused hits.

Unraveling from Joshua Jordan, and attending South Georgia's 4 year College Abraham Baldwin to the rapper J.Trill, you can understand the whole ordeal. Being in the position to work in and outside the studio with his mentor/producer DJ.Freez. J.Trill was being developed into a Artist/Songwriter from day one. On Going development J.Trill was featured on The Music Industry's Leading A&R site crazedhits.com founded by Alex Wilhelm back in the beginning of 2010. This cool, charming, and driven ex-college kid has a bright future and is getting brighter through out the process of his career.
