My name is J.T. Rooney, and I'm an Electronic Media major at the University of Cincinnati. This page is a collection of different types of music that I'm currently involved in creating, whether it be for personal use, film scoring, or my hip hop project with fellow E-Media student Wendell Gibbs. The Greatest Fan Film of All Time. Animated by Jacob Drake, I helped do the sound FX for this great salute to all things comic. "When the universe's most sinister villains converge on a gathering of the world's greatest heroes, a fanboy's dream battle ensues." .... .. .. .. ........The Greatest Fan Film of All Time........Uploaded by ..Bullcrank...... “Elephants Dream is the world’s first open movie, made entirely with open source graphics software such as Blender, and with all production files freely available to use however you please, under a Creative Commons license.” http://www.elephantsdream.org/ I came across this film, and decided to take advantage of its Creative Commons license by accessing the film’s audio files, which are available on elephantsdream.org. I kept the Center Surround Sound audio file, which is all of the spoken word and some sound effects, and then I created all of the music without any loops and some additional sound effects with Logic. .. .. .. .. .. Popular Murder is a short film made for the National Film Challenge which was held October 19th-22nd. the University of Cincinnati branch of National Broadcasting Society formed a team to produce this film. As part of the challenge we were given 2 possible genres to choose from, a line of dialog, a prop, and a character.
