About me:

Juan Fantastico, Johnny Swank - whatever. It tough having multiple alternative personalities but I'm game. In 2000 spent six months thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail. that trip was an incredible experience, and certainly had an effect on everything I've done since then. Last summer my fiance and I paddled 2,150 miles down teh Mississippi and Atchafalaya Rivers to support the Audubon Society's Upper Mississippi Campaign. You can check out the details at www.sourcetosea.net. Writing a book on the trip which will be out this October if the thing doesn't kill me first. Also a track guy for the Carolina Rollergirls. I'm a world champion ropelight taper. That stuff's on lock.

Who I'd like to meet:

Anyone else who's either thru-hiked the AT or paddled the Mississippi River. Rollergirls, rockers, rollers, and anyone else that has an edge to them.
