Juan Gambino,was born in Juarez Mexico in the late 1970s.He was raised in El Paso and Odessa TX his first couple of years before moving to Roswell NM.Raised in NM since the age of 5 has made him a proud Mexican/American who has never forgotten where he has come from and where he is at now.Having a flair for poetry and a natural talent for music he combined the both as a percusionist in his middle school and high school band,
Inspired by Tupac Shakur and LL Cool J,he began writing music to instrumentals,then recording them together at home.Making what are now called mix tapes,he created an album in 2001 and sold copies of it and send copies to different lables.Meeting rnb artists David Wade through a mutual friend was a big break in his career because it lead to them recording Gambino's first studio track called BabyGirl featuring David Wade.The song lead to and encounter to an up and coming lable called RnD Entertainment.Juan Gambino signed and recorded and released his first debut album entitled Latin Thug which has sold as much 10,000 or more copies up to date.The album features Baby Bash,David Wade,Clika 1,Juan Gotti,Rigo Luna,Jayel Imperial,Don Cisco and many more.With heavy rotation on Mega 104.1 lead BabyGirl to be a 1 song in NM.The song lead Juan Gambino at 69 on Media Base top 100!Followed up by Rollin In My Low Low also took off on the radio station as well.From the recogniton of doing countless shows and concerts,even tv promotions lead to LowProfile Records owner Royalty to use BabyGirl Nad Rollin In My Low Low on LowProfile Slow Jams which has sold a high quantity of units soundscanned and on the streets which includes Juan Gambino selling close to 4000 Slow Jams alone!
Gambino's second release was done alone with partner Jeff Padilla(Jethro Bodine).The album labled Boss Thug was to thre surprise of many and it sold a lot of units with a clothing line labled GoodGuy Clothing as the side hustle helped Politica Records become a household name in NM.Street promotion,album release party and concerts in and out of state has made Juan Gambino successful but still can be a force to be reckoned with if distribution is found.With the hit singles Thug Girl,PlayaMode,Burque Stomp and many more helped Boss Thug has sell close to 5000 units in stores and on the streets.
Gambino's third official release called Imperial Thug produced by Jayel Imperial sold 3000..The fourth and official release named NM's Most Hated vol 1.It has caused a lot of contreversy and as of June 1rst in its 1rst month of sales was over 800 copies,and has sold over 2000 copies to date.Myspace has been another outlet to help Gambino sell a lot of units out of state and promoters have hired Juan Gambino do concerts out of state.(JuanGambino/ myspace.com )With respect by the industries heavyweights and other top Latin Artists the sky is the limit with he right guidance and distribution.NM's Most Hated vol 2 has sold over 1500 copies.West Coast album produced by West Coast super producer Cricket of Bandana Records has sold over 1000 copies also.Album 7 Thug-Fella has sold clode to 900copies and recently released SW Hustle is selling very well.5 albums in 1 year is an indication of his work ethic,which he says comes from family support and God's blessings.
