Aprendí cuatro acordes y un par de riffs. Y montamos un grupo. Versiones y algún intento de conato de canción. Y después de cambios y más cambios, y de aprender más o menos a hacer canciones, nos quedamos TINO, CHEMA y yo. Y fuimos OPEN primero y SECRETOS DE ALCOBA años después. Hicimos pop, grabamos varias maquetas y dimos conciertos durante … 4 años?
Después me uní a MARINO, CORDERO y ORTOLÁ en BODAS DE SANGRE, pop también aunque un poco más duro y oscuro. Un par de años más tarde cambiamos el nombre a LA HUELLA, antes de editar nuestro único disco (“LAS HORAS QUE VENGAN”). Creo que fue en el 90. Giramos, hicimos más maquetas y nos morimos en el local de ensayo.
De los restos ,MARINO y yo, CORDERO llegaría más tarde, nació EL ANSIA. Esto ya era algo más rockero. Tres años de conciertos y maquetas antes de separarnos.
Dos años después grabé una maqueta con el nombre de SOVIET SISTER, y junto con MARINO y CORDERO, de nuevo, además de LUIS “POCH” salimos a la carretera con ese nombre. Grabamos tres CDs , “SOVIET SISTER”(1998), “CLICK” (1999) y “UN MUNDO FELÍZ” (2001)(inédito), dimos varias giras e hicimos rock durante 6 años.
Y ahora mismo no sé qué música hago, ni me lo planteo, ni me importa. Solo sé cuatro acordes y un par de riffs.

I learnt how to play four chords and a couple of riffs. And we made a band. Covers and some attempts at songwriting. And after several changes, and some more or less successful attempts at songwriting, the band was TINO, CHEMA and me. And we were OPEN first and SECRETOS DE ALCOBA some years later. We made pop, recorded several demos and gigged for ... 4 years?
Later I joined MARINO, CORDERO and ORTOLÁ in BODAS DE SANGRE, also pop, though a bit darker and more rock-like. A couple of years later we changed our name to LA HUELLA, just before releasing our only LP (“LAS HORAS QUE VENGAN”). I think that was in 1990. We toured, recorded more demos and died in the rehearsing studio.
Then MARINO and I, CORDERO would join us later, created EL ANSIA. We played rock. Three years of gigs and demos before splitting up.
Two years later I recorded a demo with the name SOVIET SISTER, and together with MARINO and CORDERO, again, and LUIS “POCH” we hit the road with that name. We recorded three CDs, “SOVIET SISTER”(1998), “CLICK” (1999) and “UN MUNDO FELÍZ” (2001)(unreleased), toured quite frequently and played rock for six years.
Right now I don’t know what kind of music I’m doing, don’t think about it and don’t care. I only know how to play four chords and a couple of riffs.
