Para ello convoqué a Leonel Gasso, jóven bandoneonista, que contaba en ese tiempo con 18 años, a Jorge Drafta, un experimentado violinista , y a Fernando Sánchez, contrabajista, que comenzaba a ingresar en el mundo del tango. Al poco tiempo se nos unió la cantante Gabriela Morgare. Tras un tiempo de presentaciones en distintos teatros de Montevideo y el interior de Uruguay, grabamos nuestro primer cd " Sin tregua", en 2006, y realizamos muchas presentaciones en Uruguay y Brasil. Luego de ésto se retiran de la banda Jorge Drafta y Fernando Sánchez, y entran Betina Cháves y Diego Rebello en violines, y Afonso Santini en Contrabajo. En Mayo del 2007 participamos del festival de Cuba disco, en La Habana, dando 5 conciertos en ésa ciudad, con músicos cubanos invitados. En julio del 2007 comenzamos a grabar el segundo cd "Acrata", que fue recientemente editado. A principios del 2008 se integran a la banda Sergio Astengo en el bandoneón, Gabriel Rodríguez en contrabajo y Matías Fernandez en violoncello, tras el alejamiento de Gasso, Chaves y Santini. Con ésta nueva formación , nos encontramos trabajando la gira 2008 en Brasil, y la presentación de Acrata en la sala Zitarrosa de Montevideo. I formed Fugata Tango in 2004, in Montevideo, with the idea to make Tango of vanguard, specially my compositions. For it I summoned to Leonel Gasso, young bandoneonist, who counted in that time with 18 years, to Jorge Drafta, violinist experimented, and to Fernando Sanchez, bassist, that began to enter the world of the tango. Soon after the singer Gabriela Morgare joined us. After a time of presentations in different theaters from Montevideo and the interior of Uruguay, we recorded our first CD “Without truce”, in 2006, and made many presentations in Uruguay and Brazil. After this Jorge Drafta and Fernando r Sanchez retire of the band, and enter Betina Cháves and Diego Rebello violins, and Afonso Santini in Contrabass. In May 2007 we participated in the festival of Cuba disc, in Havana, giving 5 concerts in that city, with invited Cuban musicians. In July of the 2007 we began to record the second “Acrata” CD, that recently was published. At the beginning of the 2008 they integrate to the band Sergio Astengo in bandoneón, Gabriel Rodriguez in contrabass and Matías Fernandez in violoncello, after the distance of Gasso, Chaves and Santini.
