Who I'd like to meet: Jesse Roestenberg (The Watchers) case from England, 1954 Tony Roestenberg, a young dutchman who lived in England, came home one October evening in 1954 to find his wife Jessie, and his three children, Tony junior, Ronald, and Karin in a terrified state. Mr. Roestenberg listened amazed as his wife told him how a vimana, or scout craft hovered over their isolated farmhouse at Ranton near Stafford, and how they could see two men inside-their foreheads were indeed much higher than those of Earthly people and their hair was long, but they were definitely men. They (lit] not move at all during the time the terrified family watched them. Then the vimana rose up at an angle from its position, circled the house twice, and streaked off, to be seen later over Wolverhampton and Texel, Holland. Next Sunday Tony Roestenberg had a curious "hunch" that he would see something unusual if he climbed up to the roof of his house. His premonition proved correct, and he was rewarded by the sight of a vunu, or cigar-shaped craft traveling across the sky disappearing finally into a cloudbank. He was to see another Space Ship later on, probably a vimana.

David Sankey is an artist/Illustrator living in the United Kingdom. He has always been fascinated with strange phenomena and spent many years as both an active Investigator/Researcher with various organizations – he was an RIC (Regional Investigations Coordinator) for his region and Secretary to the NIC (National Investigations Committee with the British UFO Research Association - and in 1996 he was awarded BUFORA’s Investigator of the year award at the Sheffield University conference. Over the years he has also played an active role as an Investigator/Researcher with organizations such as ASSAP (The Association for the Scientific Study of Anomalous Phenomena), UFOIN (UFO Investigators Network) etc.
Preferring a low key role - David is still actively involved with various researchers around the world often offering assistance with his Illustrative talent to accompany their work and research. His main fields of interest and study are primarily with CE3 and CE4 cases, focusing on the general physiology of the occupants and their counter-parts. At the moment David is currently working on a five volume book project in the UK, with authors John Hanson and Dawn Holloway – with a working title of Haunted Skies the book project takes a chronological look at witness sightings and strange phenomenon reported extensively throughout the UK region from the early 1940’s through to the present.
Apart from David’s dedication to the study of ufology he has an active interest in the ‘Nose Art’ often painted on aircraft in WWII and through this he is currently working closely with the Tower Museum at Bassingbourn, England with a series of Illustrations dedicated to the memory of USAAF bomber crews who flew from this base in WWII. Most of this work will be made available in the Tower Museum shop, the main proceeds going towards the running costs of the museum.
In addition to these interests David is a keen Mountain biker and on most weekends can be found cycling around the countryside with his wife and friends - somewhere within the UK. ..
