At the young age of 5, in her father's church is were it all began, touching everyone with the angelic sounds of her voice. She soon joined her five older sibliings singing group, "The Wynn Sisters", where she learned the art of harmonizing. While her love for music embodies her, she then began writing her own songs, ultimately, attracting the interest of music's icon Quincy Jones, for 'Quincy Jones Music Publishing'. This was her first 2 year publishing deal. Later, signed on with Sony ATV Music Publishing for 4 years.
Juanita Wynn wrote for one of Motowns legends, the incomparable 'Diana Ross', writing her title cut, "Everyday is a New Day". She has also written for artists such as; Grammy Nominee Gospel Artist Fred Hammond as a songwriter/arranger/background vocals on 9 tracks; the soulful R&B songstress Angie Stone, the most popular, multi-platinum selling female R&B group Destinys Child, Verity gospel group Virtue, Ben Tankard, Jazz musician Norman Brown, and Shirley Murdock, just to name a few. She also had the privilege of singing background on Tyrese hit single 'Lately'. The lists of amazing talents is unremitting.
Juanita has pride herself as a notable singer/song writer professionally for over 10 years and now it is time to reveal the quintessence of her soul. The self-titled track 'My Story Continues' is an up-tempo, high intense song that manifests her life's struggles and triumphs, and offers inspirations to young single mothers and troubled teens. Juanita's journey has been in much anticipation of introducing the world her interpretations of love, joy, peace and encouragement for those that will listen. And in spite of the current state of affairs which are "Plaguing" this WORLD right now, our JOY [SHOULD STILL] be emanating from within........from our ABILITY which [SHOULD] be CENTERED around the relationship that we (as Christians) have with Father God (because we are CONTINUING to "Study to show ourselves approved onto Him, a workman who Most definitely NEEDS NOT to be ashamed)! Why? Because we have Holy Spirit who Leads, Guides, and Teaches.....who brings back to our remembrance ALL scripture that we have deposited in our hearts (with UNDERSTANDING), so we can be "Doers of the Word, NOT Hearers ONLY, deceiving Ourselves", Amen? Amen?! A Spirit-filled life which IS characterized by experiencing UNWAVERING JOY which stems from this [often] OVERLOOKED "Fundamental" aspect of our Christianity.......the BASIC TRUTH that we (as Believers) HAVE....BEEN....FORGIVEN.... of Sin; We [ARE] in the Family of God AND have a personal relationship with Jesus the Christ..........THAT ARE NAMES ARE FOUND IN THE LAMBS "BOOK OF LIFE"! Amen somebody!!!!
The Bible says "But at midnight, as Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the [other] prisoners were listening to them.
