Hello!
My name is Jubal Creech.
I am here to share with you some of my music...
FINALLY! I have some original music on here!
These tracks are from the Raleigh Little Theater's production of "Wiley and the Hairy Man" (an African-American folk tale).
This was all recorded on organic instruments using Cubase, a Mac Book, an SM 57 and an SM 81. All effects were either added during production or were created by sending instruments (Didgeridoo etc...) through noisy & cheap stompboxes. (One track - unrepresented here - was created from closely mic-ed cymbal crashes, gongs and Tibetan singing bowls. I sliced off the actual crash and kept the humming overtones. After a bit of cut and paste, I had a wonderful collage of supersonic, super trippy sounds! What fun! Thank you Brian Eno!)
Sure, these recordings are a little rough around the edges but, it was a quick, un-mastered job and the "live" feeling created a good background for for the experimental theater project directed by Linda O'day Young!
Njoy!
Yay You're Back!! How have you been? It would be so great to see you again sometime! My CD comes out this week, and I will be putting up some new tunes! :)
