Jubilee is a new rock n’ roll band from Los Angeles, California.
Jubilee’s new single, "In With The Out Crowd", and their first single, “Rebel Hiss” are both out now. Their debut album, "After The Crash", will be released sometime in 2009. Pinky promise.
The best place to purchase digital formats of all the tunes we mentioned above would be HERE.
The band has recently been locked up in their recording studio, "Shabbey Road", putting the finishing touches on their album, and to me, it all sounds something like The Replacements, The Stone Roses, Neil Young, Blur, Jane’s Addiction, Bob Dylan, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and The Verve, all sliced ‘n diced together quite nicely. And… For some reason, the band chose to record this album and subsequent singles with a dozen different drummers. Some of these friends include:
Julian Gross (Liars)
Nick Jago (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club)
Dave Grohl (Yeah... that guy)
Joey Castillo (Queens of the Stone Age)
Carla Azar (Autolux)
Josh Freese (Devo, A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails, eh… everybody)
Kevin Haskins (Bauhaus, Love & Rockets, Tones On Tail)
Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age, Eagles of Death Metal)
Trent Reznor (Well... PROGRAMMED drums obviously duuuude)
Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters)
Maynard James Keenan (Well... This guy didn't play drums, just sang on some song with a really long name)
And many, many more, with some exciting surprises in store… So keep it in your pants. BUT, don't get the wrong idea here. This ain't no weirdo, "experimental", "side project" type thing. This is a BAND. Ahhhhh... I could try to explain it all now, but it'll all make sense sooner than later.
- Travis Keller
You guy's should break up & start weirdo experimental side projects.:) Kidding, but seriously, I don't own a credit card or even a debit card for that matter, otherwise I'd of probably downloaded all yr songs by now. Here's hoping you guy's release the full length this year so little ol me can finally get my paws on that shit, cheers.
Hey dudes. The new live tracks / cover stuff you put up are fucking great. Too bad I can't afford a topspin membership but as soon as I can, I'm joining. Can't miss out on future Jubilee releases. Lookin' forward to new stuff!
