About me:

I'm a very passionate person and I'm often told that I'm very different than people originally thought of me. Just a good ol' country boy at heart. I've had a pretty good life so far. Not always easy, but I've learned a lot from my experiences and there isn't much I would change so I'm happy with that. I spent 6 years in the Marine Corps and now I've moved to a new city and state and I'm trying to find how I can continue to better myself and the world. I have very high expectations of myself because I've worked hard to get where I am today, even if it's not exactly where I thought I'd be. My circumstances have constantly reminded me that I'm not going to have much unless I'm willing to work for it. I work daily on not falling into the "status-quo rut." I try to live my life for others (seemingly to a fault at times) because in the long run that's what it's really all about. I've been blessed with so many "things," but without having my friends and family to share them with, they're meaningless. There's much more to me than what meets the eye (thank goodness because I recently placed second behind Shrek in the last beauty contest I was in). People often try to stereotype me and quickly find out that it doesn't work. When I get honest, I admit I am a bundle of paradoxes. I believe and I doubt, I hope and get discouraged, I love and I hate, I feel bad about feeling good, I feel guilty about not feeling guilty, I am trusting and suspicious, I am honest yet still try and justify at times....and I shave my head but still use shampoo and conditioner. I'm all business in a business scenario, and the most sarcastic person in the world outside. I work hard and I play hard. I can be a little reserved when I first meet someone because it takes my complex brain a little while to figure out my own thoughts, but I quickly become a chatty patty and am often told that I'm long winded. And I once caught a fish and then found 5 dollars.....good story. ..
