Welcome to my MySapce for the Dog Walker Series. The most important thing you need to know about this first book is that ALL royalties I earn will be donated to Best Friends, the largest no-kill animal shelter in the US. Located in Kanab, Utah, Best Friends also has a television show. Dogtown can be viewed on the National Geographic channel, usually right after the Dog Whisperer on Friday nights. This organization takes in dogs, cats, horses, birds, reptiles, even goats, and no animal will ever be ‘put down’ when in their care unless there is a medical need. They even accepted 22 of Michael Vicks pit bulls for rehabilitation and adoption. These folks are the ‘real deal’ when it comes to assisting our four-legged or feathered friends.
And don’t be put off by the word ‘mystery’ in the description of this series, because I’m a romance writer at heart. I’ve given Ellie, the books’ heroine, a wonderful match: Detective Sam Ryder, a hunky blonde with a strong sense of duty. Their romance will be as intense as those in my older books though there might be a few more obstacles on the road to their happily-ever-after.
In the coming months I’ll be running several contests. Winners will receive full credit in the books where I use their ‘jokes’, as well as a token gift of thanks. I’m also giving this series a big push, so stop by the “Appearance’ section to see if I’ll be near you for a signing.
