In 2009, Judinala are focused on showing what they’ve got both on record and with an explosive live show. Having just recorded their new song "Shoot You Down", Judinala are ready to unleash a barrage of fresh material developed over numerous months of writing.
During this time, Judinala have grown as a creative force and broadened the bands already expansive musical vocabulary. By exploring musical styles new to the band, along with developing lyrical content that is identifiable and easy to relate to by any audience, they present a diverse range of intensity, colour and emotion providing a dynamic and energetic musical experience.
A combination of three individuals with varying musical tastes and backgrounds results in a diverse musical palette. The lyrics vary from specific stories to emotion based imagery that allows the listener to apply their own story or experience based on what the general theme makes you feel and therefore provides a truly personal musical interaction. The themes of the songs come from personal experience and cover feelings of love, anger, joy, sadness, enlightenment, loss, passion and day by day life in general.
With a musical range including heavy guitar oriented rock through to somber ballads to sway to, there is something for almost everyone within the Judinala catalogue. The guitars are powerful and dynamic , ranging from sweet clean tones through to raging heavy riffing and massive chord voicings that will drag you in. The basslines are intricate and inventive adding a whole new dimension to how heavy rock can be played. The drums are strong and intense providing a strong sense of groove and energy to get you moving. The vocals are delivered full of emotion and passion ranging from clean melodic tones through to aggressive gritty delivery which projects the feeling of each song.
Sons of Abraham rip up the stage at the Here And Now Festival at the NoiseBar in Brunswick this Saturday 5th December. Festival starts at 2pm, SoA on at 7:20pm. Tix are $16 at the door or message us for $12 presale tix and we'll mail them out to you.
