Jud Brown is a Singer/Guitarist from Bull Valley Illinois. Although his first instrument was the piano, his love of rock music motivated him to pick up the guitar when he was sixteen years old. After years of playing, his musical tastes have expanded to include jazz and country, both of which he infuses with the passion wrought by his rock and roll beginnings.
Jud is currently hard at work completing his first solo, non-instrumental CD, which is a blend of country, rock, and pop with plenty of notes thrown in for good measure. He is also the hard rocking lead guitarist for Southern Exposure, one of the top southern rock/country bands in the northern Illinois area. In the jazz/pop world, he plays guitar and shares lead vocal duties with Cristen Navolio in the Blue Zombies.
In addition to the guitar, Jud plays Fiddle, Piano, mandolin and bass. He can also play the drums, flute, saxophone, bassoon, banjo, harmonica and iphone.
