Judy and the Crackheads is a band that is dedicated. The music is played with dedication, this you can see, feel and hear at their live shows. The band mixes 60s/70s influences with modern day rock. On stage the band plays only own written material. Judy and the Crackheads bring you their songs with raw and pure energy as no other band does. This band is a real live sensation. History: In 2007 Clive Martin and Nicky Verheijen started out making music together with 2 other guys in a squathouse where Clive and Nicky lived. After a few months Clive and Nicky became more serieus about forming a real band. A new guitarist arrived in the band; Deev Bennes. Some gigs followed and the band records a demo in the Metro Studio of the Metropool in Hengelo NL. This demo contains 7 songs; 4 with Ben Heersing on drums and 3 with Jorik Weel. In the meanwhile Judy and the Crackheads found their own sound technician named Roald Zijsling. The Band does many live shows in the area where they live. Roald replaces Jorik as the drummer in 2010. They continue to do gigs and recorded two live videos for 3 voor 12 Mozart at Avenue. In may 2011 Roald went back to the soundtable again and Ralf Kleinnibbelink took over the drumsticks. Finally Judy and the Crackheads is comlete; Clive Martin gtr vc, Deev Bennes gtr vc, Nicky Verheijen bass, Ralf Klein Nibbelink dr. The band plays as much gigs as possible cause they feel the music belongs to the people, Judy and the Crackheads sees it as their mission to bring their music to the people.
