About me: Visit our official website at www.judydrivein.com
The Judy Drive-In opened on July 4, 1952. It has been in continuous operation every year since. It has become a favorite place to spend the weekend for many in Mt. Sterling and the surrounding areas. It is a landmark in the community of Judy, Kentucky, a small rural area close to Mt. Sterling. This is where the Judy Drive-In gets it's name. Many people think the drive-in was named after a lady named Judy, and often someone comes into the drive-in and wants to meet Judy, but alas, the Judy in Judy Drive-In is named after the community in which it is located. The Judy Drive-In has room for 380 cars, with all given a great view of the really big screen, which measures close to 80 feet wide and 40 feet high.
