About me: "And during the few moments that we have left, we want to talk right down to earth in a language that everybody here can easily understand." -Malcolm X.
Odds are, if you're capable of describing your entire human existence in a couple short paragraphs, then you're a hopelessly boring person. Thankfully, I'm not one of those people, but I'll try to cover the basics shortly.
My name is Jeff LaFave, but a name really has little to do with who I am, now doesn't it? What can I say about myself that nobody else can say? Of course, everybody loves laughing, movies, friends, and hanging out. That's a given. It's not like I'm the only person on Earth that does so. Yet, these are the types of things that people "need" to know, so I'll talk.
Journalism and writing is my passion. I've been involved with journalism for about three years now, starting out with Intro to Journalism my freshman year, Opinion Writer for sophomore/junior year, and I will spend my final year as Editor-in-Chief of the Crimson Messenger, the NPHS student-run publication. Hopefully, I can make this my living. I plan on attending Indiana University when I graduate.
People like to tell me all the time that I'm "weird" or "different." My general policy about life is to leave the place a little different than you find it. Make an impact. Do something. Thus, I'm typically invovled in just about anything under the sun. During my high school career, I've acted in the play, worked at the local town newspaper, served on Student Council (freshman year), made the Honor Roll, and I still find time to mess around with video games and electronic music.
If you really want to find out who I am, read my blog. Better yet, if you want a more hands-on approach, talk to me! I welcome all people, all creeds, and all minds with open arms. Come as you are; as a friend, as I want you to be.
"What's great about this country is that America started the tradition where the richest consumers buy essentially the same things as the poorest. You can be watching TV and see Coca Cola, and you know that the President drinks Coca Cola, Liz Taylor drinks Coca Cola, and just think, you can drink Coca Cola, too. A coke is a coke and no amount of money can get you a better coke than the one the bum on the corner is drinking. All the cokes are the same and all the cokes are good. Liz Taylor knows it, the President knows it, the bum knows it, and you know it." -Andy Warhol.
Who I'd like to meet: Daft Punk, Rush, Kyle Ward, Andy Warhol, Bob Barker, Brett Favre, Takeru Kobayashi, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Buckethead, Lewis Black, David Letterman.
Been a while man. Going to afghanistan in a couple weeks until this time next year. Hope everything is going well. Thought I'd spark up one last convo before I left.
Jeff, We love you guys so much. I hope you know that we are here for you no matter what. It's going to be hard, but you guys will make it through this and you have all of your friends and family to help you along the way. Be strong, everything will be ok. Love you!

steveo 91 wants you to join their band in Rockstars, a game where you can form bands with your friends and play gigs, battle rival bands, and become famous on MySpace!
We're thrilled that you have become a 'friend!' We hope to woo you with song and see you evolve from 'friend' to über-fan soon enough. Check the tunes out on iTunes, they sound better there than on myspace. The link is on our main page.
Our new single "It's Not Me, It's YOU" will be out in around Christmas, ahead of the release of our sophomore album 'Manic Ghost.' Keep checking out page for upcoming contests, videos and previews of the new album.
You can still buy the old album on iTunes (and Rhapsody, Napster and many others) before the new one is released. If buy it, you're our best friends for life. Ha. You are quite blatantly badass, oh, new friend of ours. =)
