juglandacee is an italian trio formed in the spring of 2007 by Lorenzo Senni on laptop Enrico Malatesta on percussion and Riccardo Baruzzi on turntable.Founded on the radical electroacustic improvvisations their sounds have more influences,from the contemporany digital/ambient music to free jazz.Please contact juglandacee at:

Riccardo Baruzzi (b.1976) has developed artistic research in the field of the visual arts for the years ninety with particular interest towards the painting and the photograph, exposing both in Italy and abroad, at the meantime he cultivates the practice of the djing up to make it become an important part of his work.
In the last two years his possibility has been taken up at a cycle of works of painting, sculpture, photograph, installation, and collage, having the theme to live less, examining places near to him; in parallel loud installations and better objects are born: sculptures which touch the soundart as in the very nice music center stereo, where the audience is invited to interact.
Baruzzi traces an internal psicogeografia: another way to lose among places suggested only in part by him, who searches, like us, the conclusion of a journey still current.

Enrico Malatesta b.1985 in Cesena, where currently lives and studies. As a drummer and percussionist, he joins different seminaries of jazz,improvvisation and music philosophy, among them the ones of R.Faenzi,M.Giammarco,M. Moriconi,M.Cosottini, A.Pisani (Grim-Music improvisation research group Italy). Enroled in classical percussion instruments course in the B. Maderna conservatoire of Cesena, under the direction of A.Rattini and D.Sabatani.He works like a percussionist in Valdoca,contemporany theatre company, under the direction of Cesare Ronconi,where he have the oppurtunity of work with the actors/performer Danio Manfredini,Muna Mussie,Leonardo Delogu,Giusi Pignotti.He is committed with different experimental and extemporization projects focuss in electroacustic,free jazz and totally impro music. Art director (w/L.Senni) of Audible (advanced music & culture festival_Cesena). He played and collaborated with:Jonas Kocher,Claudio Rocchetti(3/4HadBeenEliminated),Alessandro Panzavolta(Orthographe),Sara Gamarro,Tristan Honsinger,Nicola Guazzaloca,Julian Reiss,Enrico Graziani,Dario Fariello,Renato Ciunfrini,Riccardo Baruzzi,Filippo Giuffrè,Jemes Brewster(Mole Harnes),Marco Tabellini,Bologna Improvisers Orchestra,Stefano Giust,Antonio Nijen Coatti,Alessio Pisani(GRIM),Andrea Faccioli(Å).He puts his interest in music together with poetry ones he constantly apply himself to;he publishes in 2007 his first poems collection:58Crisalidi, edited by Farnedi Editions.

Lorenzo Senni (b. 1983) is a sound artist residing near Bologna. He studies Musicology at University in Bologna and his work focuses on create electronic soundscapes with laptop and DIY software. Now he is also studying with the international photographer Guido Guidi to achieve a better view of the evolutive process of the contemporary landscape and to analyze the relations between field recording and photography. Now he is involved in soundscape studies. He plays drums on Le Harmacy free noise trio and laptop on Juglandacee (electroacustic impro project) Lorenzo Senni collaborates with the photographer Cesare Fabbri on open work named "Passaggi Sonori" (photos_sinewaves) and with the "tout court" artist Alessandro Panzavolta "Orthographe" (Venice Theatre Biennial 2006) on a project about sound and numbers named "Erinnerung" (Festival delle colline torinesi 2007) He also work on sound design of last Orthographe theatrical piece. Founder of PRESTO!? Records - label focused on electro-acoustic/electronic/digital music, field recordings and sound art.
