Jukebot drives home the Rock with stellar skill and ferocious presence.
Jukebot is a five piece band of skilled musicians, songwriters and singers from around the nation that have met each other in the global village of Bend, Oregon. The band, immediately referred to by local scene-sters as a "central Oregon super-group" consists of members of Person People (Jared Forqueran - Drums & Aaron Miller - Keys), El Dante (Tyler Mason - Bass & Gabe Johnson - Guitar), David Bowers Colony (Jared, Aaron & Tyler) and The Sofakings (Stephanie Slade - Vox).
Initially brought together to play Bend's annual "Church of Neil" event (a tribute to Neil Young's music), they soon realized that they had a special musical and personal chemistry and soon thereafter they decided to start a serious project together. Intent on establishing themselves as one of Bend’s best musical products, the band began by focusing largely on cover material and has recently begun to branch out into original material that reflects the members wide variety of influences, spanning from Rock n Roll to Funk, from Modern Rock to Hip Hop and Soul.
Jukebot will continue to focus on growing their "chops" and repertoire as a unit while focusing a lot of energy on an approach to writing that is deeply funky, hard-rocking, superbly melodic and strikingly catchy yet also spontaneous and magical. Watch as the band's fan base in the Northwest U.S. continues to grow and expect to see JB touring more regularly in 2010.
