JUKEBOX JUNKIES are Four Mutha Fuckers dressed in Black, here to Rock the World back into Shape!
Formed in 2007, Hailing from the Midlands, Jukebox Junkies aim is to wipe away the cares and stresses of the audience’s daily lives and take them to a new Rock n Roll Experience anytime they hit the stage. Whether you are 16 or 60, they are sure you will find enough enjoyment to eagerly await their next visit to a venue near you.
Consisting of Simon John on Lead Vocal and Rhythm Guitar, B Bop on second Lead Vocal and Lead Guitar complimented by the exciting Rhythm section that is Stix 13 on Drums and Backing Vocals and Dan Burchmore on Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals, combining the energy of these four individuals on stage will most defiantly encourage even the most reluctant in the audience to get up and dance the night away. Drawing on Rock 'n' Roll influences going way back beyond the years of any of the members of the band, to the best that is currently around, they are putting on a show of original music that will both excite the young whilst stirring thoughts in the older audience.
So far in their time together, Jukebox Junkies have played gigs in the Midlands area, Motorcycle rallies and ventured all the way down to sunny London, with gigs in Shepherds Bush, Camden and Croydon stopping this busy capital in its tracks. Junkies now find themselves with a brand new 3 track e.p release that will surely bring a taste of their Live experience to any willing audience members home stereo. With more gigs on the way and successfully being invited to play GlastonBudget festival in May, 2009 is surely Jukebox Junkie time!!
