Upon first listen to these guys you will probably think two things (depending on how in touch with the '90s you are); "Ben" and "Folds." It's true that singer/piano player Ben Thornewill shares strong vocal similarities to that other Ben's tenor. And, of course, it doesn't quell comparisons when they're both piano men. But Jukebox the Ghost probably lean a little more towards the dramatic flair (a la Queen) than Folds did (or does?). People go crazy for these guys at their shows. I saw yall last year at Stubbs with Jenny and it was mind blowing, yall's level of proficiency, talent, and creative blows me away constantly. I bought your CD at that show and since that time it has risen to the top of my most played songs in itunes not just a few songs but all of them ranks the top 15 spots with Good Day poised to be the first song to reach 100 in the play count. I can't wait for the new album. Thank you for the inspiration and motivation to push me to get out there and do what I want to do musically. I can't wait for yall to get back to Texas and especially Austin.
