There are three of us. Me, Myself and I. Me only wants to be in the spotlight, so he's not of much help. Myself isn't really a band person. He wants control of everything by himself, which is difficult for one person to have and when he can't have it he just lets everything go. So I usually end up doing all the work.
I also play in other constellations. On some recordings my friend and constellation member, Annika joins in to make things more agreeable for the listener.
I am going to Pete Howlett's in a few weeks time and I am going to stuff your Helsinki uke down my trousers and run off with it (just so you know when it goes missing).
Hello Jukka, I was also happy to meet you in Paris. I hope we'll meet again one of these days, and that we'll have more time to play ukulele together ! Bye ! Théou
OK, Jukka, the cats were on the guest bed again, so I locked Zippy the boxer in there with them. There was a lot of noise and dust (and even a few feathers), but those cats are off the bed. Zippy's up there, though, so I still have a little work to do.
Thanks, jukka! That really does mean a lot. I need to hear good things...I've been frustrated with my songs lately. I'm glad you like them, but they're not where I want them to be. But...the good thing is that I am writing. This summer should bring some more polished stuff cuz I won't be working. Yay break! :)
You may well be right about the Banjo Uke - courtesy of Alvin Keech c. 1917 we believe! But then us old Mamps remember a time when ukes was made of tin cans and willow wands. Thanks for the positivity and - you can change the shape of things to come with the power of ukuleles ;-)
Sorry I haven’t said “Howdy” in awhile, but we’ve been ever so busy with the wedding plans and all. Anyways, just stoppin' in fer a visit after returning from our honeymoon, and, as usual, yer sure sounding swell!
No pressure at all, eh? Yeah, I'm working on it with a little ukulele and an even littler microphone which lends a certain tinnyness to recordings (or should that be tinitis?). Anyway, thanks for taking me up and a sunny/snowy Dresden "hullo" to you!
I pop by now and then to see if there is any new music here. I thought I'd say Hi this time and let you have a picture of The Stockholm International Ukulele Festivals friendly and very musical elk/moose.
Hi and thank you for being my friend as well! Too bad, no recordings yet! I just bought a great Brueko with pick up so maybe in future... I won't make any promises! I'm just a newbie :)
