..evolution, 24 hour laundromats, my plants on the front porch, catching people in the right light, good books in bed, when the lighting doesn't suck at shows i am shooting, making milkshakes at peppermint patti's, my dog snoring or dreaming, living in the four seasons, my nieces, tiki bars, postcards, surprises, cocktails on airplanes, dive bar napkin poetry, moss on rocks, a yellow butterfly, the little pieces of things in bird's nests, homemade salsa, seeing old people holding hands, beach hair, tree houses, sea glass, old fashion handwriting, the feeling i get after a performance, finding feathers, connections, clean bathtubs, old neon signs, the little bell at the desk of old motels, maps with coffee stains, driving over bridges, being glad i brought my camera, state lines, sundresses and cowboy boots, good pens, starting a fire, road trips with legs out the window and rearview mirror photography, black and whites, color, boating out in the ocean, diving into the sea and opening my eyes and seeing nothing but blue, florida's gulf coast, docks, libraries, birdies, little boxes, tall trees, fireflies, sparklers, skee ball, marking shit off a to-do list, rivers, when my freckles come out in the summer. holding my breath under water. learning and growing, learning and growing pains. amtrak in the nineties, midways at dark. ducks.
