We are five rad dudes from Grand Rapids, MI. We've all been friends with each other for the past 5-10 years respectively, having all played in some of West Michigan best rock, metal, and indy bands. Most notably would be our mantastic lead singer Mike Church who used to play in Roadrunner artist Still Remains, and our World of Warcraft addicted drummer AJ Barrette who has served time in Still Remains, Metal Blade band Demiricous, and Solid State / Tooth and Nail artist The Showdown. Lead guitarist / dude with sweet abs, Luke Galas, hails from former GR powerhouse The Orphan, whilest rythm guitarist / backup vocalist / dude with giant hair, Austin Poel, comes from the successful indy rock band Broken Sunday. Bass player Ben "do it again" Allen comes from the West Michigan extreme metal juggernaut Dissonant.
So yeah.....we're five crutial bro's that decided to quit our old bands and start a new band jammin out with friends, and having butt loads of fun whilest doing so. An added super bonus is that bass player Ben owns his own recording studio so we get to track our music 24/7. Throw a camcorder in the mix to document our shenanigans and you got yourself one laugh filled, rock fueled, sexually confused good time.
Watch us laugh, cry, puke, fight, fall off buildings, raid a dungeon or two, cook some food, maybe take a shit.....WHO KNOWS!!!! All we know is that God put us here to rock your face's and thats what we're fittin on doing.
"Lewy is currently involved in playing drums for The Exitwound Project and is available for recording with many others."
Also, please be sure to check out "Lewy's" new project to help drummers and their favorite charities called "Drum Solo Cards" at www.drmsolocards.com Tell your friends and send all the drummers that you know to look them up.
I see potential... Sounds more like grungy mild rock than anything else. I like Church's singing voice a lot more than his growling whatever you wanna call it (not into the yelling and screaming) but it would probably go better if he didnt hold the notes so long. Stay captive by still remains is a very good example of what kind of GOOD singing church can do
Just listen to "A Time To Heal," great song. Vocals remind me of Emery's Toby Morrell. Looking forward to the show on Friday. I think you need to bring back "Cooking with Church," the pork tenderloin recipe was amazing!
I totally agree with the dude below me. The guitar solo on The Woods From The Trees reminds me of Pink Floyd. I'm so happy you guys sound the way you do..I am totally into jam bands. Can't wait to see what else you have in store for us :)
hey great song, when are you able to have your songs downloadable or where we can get them? u played alot of good songs at the intersection and i wanted 2 know when we get them, keep rockin guys. -tyler
