  • Time off in June?

Hello, it is with sad puppy dog eyes that I say we wont be playing any shows in June as was originally planned.

I am unfortunately having to switch focus on something going on but we will be back in July.

I am quite sad but if you are too, have a sob, then come see us in July.

    Apologies and well wishes,

    Julia x
  • We have a little ep you can buy online!

You can now buy a small collection of tunes called the Come Home EP. All you have to do is head over to our bandcamp!

  • A summer release!

    Hello hello,

From Monday onwards there will be a little collection of songs selling on our bandcamp site. I will link to the bandcamp site when it is up and running which will be on Monday surprisingly...

For a while now, people from all over the world - most notably in the United States, have been asking where they can find our music. It's been a tad unfair to say to them "I sell CD's at gigs". I know as much as they would love to come all the way for a homemade CD and fridge magnet (and occasional yummy homebaked cupcake), the current economic climate just wouldn't allow it. And I really can't afford numerous flights to play in their back yards. As much as I would LOVE it. So until I am a millionaire with ten thousand cats and my own giant hot air balloon, other ways have to be arranged.

I thought long and hard about releasing another little collection of songs into the world. Not because I don't want to share them with people (not at all) but because I am never sure of what to release. I discussed it with many infuencial people including my mum, my brother, my pal and my other pal and manager type person (he's back btw) John. I should also mention he is also classed under 'pal' as well.

Anyway, way, way, way back at the start we had four tunes out there in the world but it was for a limited time. Now it is time to release four tracks which I am sure everyone is familiar with into the world and see how they do. The tracks are:

    Come Home
    Hummingbird
    Borderline
    New York City

All in all, a relatively mellow and somewhat well known bunch of tracks. 'Borderline' is in there just incase anyone gets upset after the first two. Sometimes even I feel blue after 'Hummingbird'. I think it suits the summer ahead to have something slow and easy to listen to. I hope other people enjoy these songs too should they choose to purchase a little copy.

And what is this collection of songs called I hear you ask? Well, it's simple really. It will be called the "Come Home EP". The main reason for this is that I can't come up with good names for things and honestly, I think that's a nice name and I even drew a little cover for it. I have an original name should we get to the stage we have an album out and so far - it's not the name of any of my songs. I am keeping it under my hat.

There we go. I am not making a huge deal of this - I just want the people who really want some of our songs to be happy with what I have to offer. It will probably be on itunes as well at some point. Oh and if you don't want a digital copy, I will be offering a handmade one with fridge magnet to be posted/shipped out.

    Julia x
