"The crowd is sparse to begin with; but Julia’s easy charm is a palpable tent-filler. The blond-dreaded lovely slaps that acoustic guitar as one might a bass, and sings songs about accidentally showing her ass in public. What’s not to like? " (www.beardedmagazine.co.uk)
Greenbelt Festival Review
"rated the best gig of Greenbelt" (Cross Rhythms Magazine)
Julia Harris is rapidly making a name for herself on the acoustic circuit. Arguments rein over whether she is 'urban acoustic' or 'funk-folk', but trying to categorise Julia's approach is really missing the point.
Her disarmingly honest, and highly personal songs, give us a special insight into the real Julia. Whether head-over-heels-in-love or fleeing the unwanted attentions of a flasher, Julia's unique sense of storytelling continues to capture the hearts and minds of audiences across the country.
Since releasing 'Everything Under The Sun' a live recording of her debut gig at The Norwegian Arts Centre, Cardiff Bay in 2003, Julia has played extensively across South Wales supporting the likes of Damien Rice and Welsh songwriter Amy Wadge, as well as spending two years living and performing in Dublin. She has also become a regular on the London acoustic scene.
Cheers for the add Julia - Your sounds were pleasing to me ears & hope you like my stuff too:)! Good luck & all the best from Paul Thomas (Swansea roots:)!

I'd love you to come to this event. Please email me at: rachel@coedhills.co.uk if you are interested.
We've done a national call-out to musicians to come and jam (we always get a lot of musicians anyway, and so this event should be epic... I think you would love it).
Hello Julia, thanks a lot for adding The Acoustic Buzz to your friends. I'm hoping it's going to become a once monthly event next year and would love to get you over to play? Cheers for now, Tim (Blind River Scare).
