Julian David Edwards was born in Abertillery in the South Welsh valleys. He studied at
Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London followed by the London School of Musical
Theatre at her Majesty’s Theatre. A Welsh Tenor with mysterious yet soothing qualities, he
was fortunate to tour globally as a lead vocalist with the show Riverdance. He has performed
in London’s West End, at Radio City Music Hall, and as far away as the People’s Hall of
China in Beijing.
Former lead vocalist for Cruise ships such as the MS Norwegian Star and MS Saga Ruby,
Julian recently finished touring as a member of the chorus supporting Celtic Woman, which
featured Hayley Westernra. The group has continued to dominate the music charts in the
USA and Japan. Julian is featured in the DVDs A New Journey and A Christmas Celebration,
which are in constant play on PBS TV (USA). This past summer Julian recorded his first solo
album Celtic Electricity and is presently enjoying promoting and performing this project in
which he is immensely proud!

Celtic Electricity is the debut album of Welsh artist Julian David Edwards. The album is a
fusion of popular classical songs, Welsh and Irish traditional tracks with some popular movie
themes. The album has an intimate feel, with beautiful piano accompaniment and
arrangements, which support Julian’s mysterious yet soothing tenor qualities. Julian began
singing in the valley town of Abertillery in South Wales and has since been fortunate to
perform in the West End of London and at Radio City Music Hall in New York. Much of the
inspiration for this album has come from his journey from Wales to Broadway. The album
was recorded in Cardiff in the summer of 2008 with an all-Welsh production and music team.
The album features Green, Green Grass of Home, a song to which Julian greatly relates each
time he arrives into Cardiff Airport or reaches the heads of the Valleys after a long train ride
to Cardiff from London. Other songs include My Little Welsh Home and Ar Hyd y Nos. Celtic
Electricity can be purchased from www.juliandavidedwards.com (for UK sales) or cdbaby.com/cd/juliandavidedwards (for the USA and beyond). More details, including track samples, can also
be found on Julian’s website.
