     Hello there!

    I hope life’s treating You fine…

I just uploaded ‘ID part 3; DARK MAZE OF THE LIBIDO’! It’s not exactly Schubert but it’s PERFECT for playing video games under influence. Anything that affects the central nervous system should do… except anti-psychotics. If You are currently on these, You might consider skipping one instead. What’s the worst thing that could happen? The end of mankind? Well… that’s exactly the worst thing that could happen. So, do evaluate Your level of access to weapons of mass destruction beforehand and proceed accordingly, PLEASE.

I hope You’ll enjoy the piece. Your comments are, as always, welcome and much appreciated…

I wish You all the best!

    Peace and love,
    Basil.

P.S. Under the circumstances I would like to humbly dedicate my composition to the people of Cyprus who are being blatantly robbed by domestic and international gangsters.

    Heyyyyyy!!!

Whatup??? I hope it’s all mighty wicked (or freaking awesome).

    So, here’s the big news:
I just uploaded ‘ID part 2; IN THE AFTERLIFE?’, a piece of music unlike anything You’ve ever heard before!!!

Now, I must confess that, if I was reading this, I’d feel less than irresistibly tempted. The pursuit of novelty in music most often leads to such things as superchromatic mental wanking, plain rap or the ever-popular chewing-snoring-farting combo. But, as You already know, I don’t play any of these games. Instead, every single note has been carefully chosen by Yours Truly through a lengthy procedure known as Composing. Yours Truly makes history for real

So, I’d really like for You to take a listen, enjoy and let me know what You think.

Have a fantastic new year, inherit a fortune from an obnoxious relative and spend it naughtily!

    Peace and love,
    Basil.

Julianna was born in 1980 in Budapest, Hungary. She got close to music and singing at primary school, where she also played the classical piano. After finishing high school, she graduated at the Faculty of Public Relations of College of International Management and Business Studies. Meanwhile, she returned to music and learned jazz singing for two years from two Hungarian jazz singers – Bea Munkácsi and Gábor Winand. After the College, she post-graduated at the Jazz Faculty of Hungarian Music Academy in 2007 as the student of Tamás Berki.

Julianna has been on stage since the second year of her jazz studies. Despite her relatively short presence in jazz life, she had the honour to sing with many great musicians and jazz bands – such as István Gyárfás Trió, Aladár Pege Quartet, Budapest Jazz Orchestra, Freestyle Chamber Orchestra, Coolmen Trio, Erik Sumo Band and many more. Her new band -Fábián Juli Jazz Riff- was founded this summer, playing mainly own compositions and pop coverages. The band’s very first appearance was the warming-up concert of Kenny Garrett’s show.

She is the singer of the electronic-based jazz-hip-hop-drum&base-raggie band Barabás Lorinc Eklektric, which played as the warm-up band of the world-known trumpet player Eric Truffaz. This year, Julianna was finalist of the Shure Voice Competition of Montreux Jazz Festival. Besides, she teaches jazz singing, she has studio works and writes articles for EMI’s Hungarian quarterly (Hangjegyzet). Her utmost ambition is to gain inspiration from all kinds of music, never stop learning and developing herself and her art, while letting herself be touched by others’ soul and art. She has many symbols, ways to follow such as Ella Fitzgerald, Bobby McFerrin, Eliane Elias, Sting, Sade and many more. ....
