Julian Scott's musical talents were first noticed by Mishka, a successful recording artist signed to Creation Records by A & R legend Alan McGee, best known for signing Oasis, Primal Scream and other top-billed acts. Julian joined Mishka singing backup and playing bass on a 12-month world tour beginning in 2000. Notable dates on that tour included the Glastonbury Festival, Leeds UK, Bercy Stadium France, a festival tour of the US and The Fuji Rock Festival in Japan, The tour supported bands such as the Roots, James Brown, Massive Attack, Heather Nova, and Burning Spear.

Based at the time in the UK, Julian also joined Emily Haines and Jimmy Shaw of Metric as they showcased for record companies prior to being signed.

In 2002 Scott took a break from touring to pursue a career in banking and equity trading. Though successful financially, he soon found that he missed playing music full-time and was spending all his spare time perfecting his craft as a bass player in preparation for a career as a studio musician. During this time Julian picked up acoustic guitar and wrote his first song. He was instantly hooked and hasn’t looked back.

Now with more than 30 original songs to choose from, Julian has been performing steadily and developing songs for his upcoming debut CD release. A talent with a unique sound that’s been described as “Seal” meets “Jack Johnson”, Julian Scott is ready to set the music scene on fire.
