I am a Sydney based visual artist/live performance maker/writer. My diverse arts practice, investigates chaos and order, beauty within the supposed grotesque, ritual, chance and random collisions, the extraordinary in the ordinary and memory and resonance in place. To survive, one must be able to flow but inherent in that is to know when to be still. I performed with the stilt company, Icarus for many years, touring and travelling in Europe. I was also a longtime member of the all-girl Sydney cult group Frumpus, who turn pop culture and b-grade horror into a frumpy, lynchian rollercoaster. hello Julie..good to hear from you..wow..looks like you have been busy..I really enjoyed our conversations in the bookstore... the last book i bought there was Gurdjieff's "Beelzebub's Tales to His Grandson".
