MySpace a place for friends

First, I am an author; I write books. I don't have a bunch of letters after my name, but I manage to write pretty well. Go figure. When I decide I want to go back to school, I'll let you know. Until then, I'm going to keep writing books.

I love writing for young adults. I love writing for adults as well. Right now my writing muse is in the Caymen Islands, so I'm mostly painting and mothering--and wife-ing (is that a word?).

I don't poke badgers with spoons. Generally a bad idea. I am myself; no more, no less. I do my best every day. I'm a mom, so have a little respect. Stop the 'you're sexi' crap--first, it's "sexy"; second...see previous statement.

I strive to be honorable in my dealings with myself and others. If you are local and you want to be my friend, great. If you are a writer or publisher, reviewer or agent, great. If you are out of state and you don't know me from Adam (or Eve) shoot me an email and tell me why you want me on your friends list, please. If you don't, I won't approve you. I have too many friends with whom I don't communicate on here as it is.

I am here for networking and friends. If you are a guy trolling for sex, click your little "Back" button and keep browsing. Find the women with the above-her-cleavage-photo shot or the short skirt-showing-the-junk from behind as she bends over. I have a profile I will send you to if you're looking for that. They are a better bet than me. BY FAR. Trust me. I married the coolest, best, most fantastic man in the world, (and no one compares to him) so....sorry, off of the market for good and ever..

I am complicated, but I own my stuff, and I expect the same. I am an enigma; if you have to look that up, then you probably don't know me and you probably shouldn't waste your time.
