Lyric mezzo Julie Biggs performs in opera, operetta, with orchestras and in concerts. Her recent appearances include the role of Prince Orlovsky in Die Fledermaus (Fargo-Moorhead Opera Company); Public Opinion in Orpheus aux Enfers and Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro (Western Plains Opera Company); Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors and Maggie in The Gift of the Magi (The Little Opera Company ).
In 1993 Ms. Biggs graduated Summa Cum Laude from Minot State University in North Dakota with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance and a Bachelor of Education in Music. In 1999 she completed her Master of Music degree in Opera Studies Summa Cum Laude at Northwestern University in Evanston Illinois.
