Born and bred in Cornwall, Julie Elwin has been writing and performing her music for a number of years. In 1999, she entered the spotlight for the first time (along with her husband Simon) with her band Naked Feet.
Julie has since built herself a strong following with her haunting melodies and powerful lyrics.
Uniquely, Julie also writes and performs in the Cornish language and has won the International Pan Celtic Song Competition in Ireland with her composition Mor Menta Sewia (Follow Me).
Julie has an extensive catalogue of unpublished, but proven songs and is now looking for the right opportunity to bring her talents to a much wider audience.
She is also an accomplished musician in her own right playing piano accordion, whistles, guitar and Hammond organ.
