Hi Julie,

Thanks for your honesty. I kinda had a feeling it had something to do with that. It's not personal in the sense that people in general tend to withdraw from extended grieving, trauma, illness etc. Sad but normal, is very sad actually.
I can sure relate to that not all better and people forgetting, or even more obvious, completely ignoring it ever happened.

Well I'm very sorry to hear that you lost your husband. I UNDERSTAND that it changes your life drastically and that from what others have told me, don't expect it ever to be 'all better'. Which rather than seeing as negative, is at least honest and I can deal with that. Just like you validating the reality that people DO disappear under these circumstances and that this eerily quiet is NOT my imagination! THANK YOU!

That being said, that is why I'm trying to weed out the site so that I can better know the ones that do WANT to be on here and need acknowledgment and friendship, like you. I don't withdraw from trauma, or extended trauma, if I did, I sure wouldn't be running this site. Hello folks we DO have PTSD for a reason! Or many reasons. Well how can we gather all of us as one so I (we) can continue shouting in the eery silence? I don't want anyone to be forgotten....

Please feel free to write/vent anytime. Thank you again for your honesty. My heart breaks for your loss. But isnt that what this site is for so we can be there for each other???!!! One way or another, I WILL get to know all my friends on here. NO-ONE deserves to be alone dealing with such horrific trauma and loss.

Going into the holiday season, is it rougher for you? I'm guessing it is..?
