Julie was born and raised in Las Vegas but has lived in various places on the planet ( Hawaii,Italy, London and Ibiza) but has been living for the past 15 years in europe and has finally found her home in Berlin.
Her musical capabilities were definitely inherited by her father, who has had a long career as a guitarist, performing with artists such as FRANK SINATRA, SAMMY DAVIS JR., and LENA HORN .She is by far a multi-talented artist and her talents are not limited to Djing, she is also a violinist and producer, often combining these talents into a unique performance.
Julie spins minimal, deep, funky, tech influenced electronic music with bittersweet melodies, hypnotic grooves and depending on her inspiration, improvises with the violin. In 2002, she became a resident DJ of Peter Pan in Riccione, Italy. Since then, she has played some of the most important clubs in the world; GOA - Rome, TENAX -Florence, AMNESIA and SPACE -Ibiza, EGG,SOSHO (RETOX) ,U.K., COCOON - Frankfurt to name a few.
Julie has also played for many events around the world, including the CIRQUE du SOLEIL'S opening party of "ZUMANITY" in Las Vegas, "SALTIMBANCO" in Milan and 20 YEARS OF CIRQUE du SOLEIL party in canada. In 2006 and 2007 she was choosen to play both ABSOLUTE ELECTRONIC FESTIVAL and BACARDI B-LIVE and shared the stage with amazing artists such as BOOKASHADE, TRENTEMOLLER, PANPOT, and many more.
Playing in many clubs around the world has given julie the inspiration to combine different cultural influences in her latest productions. Her track "LAST TANGO" was made in collaboration with dj producer BUTCH and is supported by djs such as VILLALOBOS, LUCIANO, LOCO DICE AND TOBI NEUMANN to name a few. Her special edition 10 inch vinyl X EP has come out on MATERIAL, the label of MIHALIS SAFRAS and MARK BROOM, in july 2009.
Watch out for her productions which include her on the electric violin. A truly unique dj, she brings something special to the console.
