The vessel is young, but the soul is ageless. These words just about sum up the young aspiring singer, songwriter and pianist, Julie Nager. Her ethereal vocals and original music stream with experience and passion. At an early age, Julie took pen to paper to communicate her raw emotions, and composed her first song when she was only in first grade. By 13, she was performing in coffeeshops and open mic nights across Michigan. Julie recorded her first CD at the age of eighteen. The subject matter that drives most of her songs comes from her life experiences, relationships, heartaches and the struggle of finding out who she is. Since then, she has been writing and performing in various venues that cater to original music such as, coffee houses and nightclubs. Her biggest influences are Tori Amos, Chantal Kreviazuk, Fiona Apple and Sarah Mclachlan. Besides working as a solo artist she also sang background vocals for Michelle Penn and Tamara Bedricky. Julie just released her new EP "Bits and Pieces", and is currently working in the studio refining the last songs for her anticipated upcoming CD, with her producer.

Hey Julie, I really enjoyed your sound at Liberty Street. It was a pleasure to hear and meet you. Too bad there wasn't time to just hang out. Hopefully, the weather will be better for your next performance in Plymouth. Dante
