I got it all…Really got it all here…

All the friends…relationships… and family all near



And yet I'm wrestling with a continuous yearning…constantly burning…in my mind…

My heart…my eye…

The question I ask quietly…so that no one hears me…"Why?"





One can be so close and yet still be far…

Little like when in a sleepy haze you reach out to grab a star…

And I've done that a few times, too…

Do you remember the last time…I reached out…hoping to find you…

"You"…Whatever you are…whoever you are…

Creating a large missing in my eye…like a distant star…



I really must find you soon…in this ever changing world…

I've seen a few diamonds turn to mere pebbles from pearls…



All things change…All things at some point get rearranged

Are you the changing kind...the rearranging kind?



At the lonely moments of life: Are you a pearl or a mere stone?

I mean the moments when you are all alone…and on your own?

It is usually in the early hours of morning
That I hear the beautiful that is in silence....
The spaces between my thoughts become larger and larger
And my soul wiser and wiser.




I hear whispers in silence....
Life's whispers.......your whispers
Saying:   Come to me
And Oh, Dear Life, Oh, Dear Love
How I yearn to come to you!




For many a moon I have walked alone
On lonely shores and sorrowed seas
Walking.........wanting.....waiting
Waiting for what....I knew not
Until I saw your face.




Was then I knew myself
Or who myself should be
There in the shadow of your moonlit smile
And the starlight of your eyes......
You spoke straight into my soul.




Your whisper touched my heart,
My pride crumbled at your feet,
And all my defenses fell........
The walls lovelessness had built.
 


How did you know?
How did you see?
The me inside the facade of me?
You are a Soul Whisperer..........
And from sadness, you've set me free.




There can only be, and ever has been,

The maps are in my eyes...

Every searching soul needs their maps.....
