    Listening to Julie Taylor's music will give you reflections of things that have happened in your life or someone close to you. Her songs touch the heart and soul of all ages. Julie is received very well overseas as well in the United States. She is inspired by great songwriters like Becky Hobbs ("Angels Among Us") and the all time great Loretta Lynn. They have influenced her in her songwriting. Julie has toured Europe twice and has had the opportunity to open for Becky Hobbs twice. Most recently in January 2008 Julie was on tour in Australia with Becky and singer/songwriter, Kacey Jones. Before moving to Nashville, Tennessee she was born in southern New Jersey but country was what she grew up listening to as her father was raised in Eastern Tennessee. She had her own band (Fire Mountain) for 5 years before moving. Performed for a few years in Nashville at well-known songwriter nights before moving out to Franklin County for the quiet, country life. Still gigging, still writing and running her own record label and promotions. She contiues to be a DJ on the internet as well. On her time off she enjoys fishing, spending time with friends and just "pickin" on the porch or around a campfire. She is a down-to-earth girl with a down-home feel to her music. She is a people person and always keeps in touch with her fans. Julie also has a soft spot for children in need and has performed for various organizations to help raise money for needy children or children with chronic or life-threatening illnesses which prompted her to start her own non-profit, 501(c)3 organization, Kisses for Kids Foundation.
