Julie Thuy Hai, (who goes by Julie at her English-speaking gigs) a Vietnamese-American artist, is known to Texas music fans both as a singer/songwriter and as an a cappella vocal stylist. Dallas fans may recognize her as the lead singer of Mosaic Minds, who just released their first CD. She has been playing and singing music all her life. Classically trained, boasting a 3-octave vocal range, and equally at home in rock venues and concert halls, Julie's solo career can only be described as 'eclectic'. This versatile singer and keyboardist has performed in many venues and at festivals all over Texas, including the Oklahoma City Festival of the Arts, the Texas International Dragonboat Festival, Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie, and the Lunar New Year Festival. In addition to playing and singing her own compositions, Julie is skilled at a cappella performance, both in the western vocal style and in the style of traditional Vietnamese music.
Julie's a cappella performance of the National Anthem is frequently in demand and can be heard at many military and community functions in Oklahoma City, Dallas, Arlington, Houston and other cities. She has performed in front of various mayors, state representatives, and the lieutenant governor of Oklahoma. Patriotic and committed to her community, Julie can often be heard performing at community fundraisers and concerts in the greater Oklahoma City and Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex.

Julie, Thank you so much for the friend request. You all sounded really good. I didn't arrive until you were at the end of the set but did get a few. I should be able to get them up towards the middle of the week. I'll watch for your next gig. Maybe can get by the Garland show. Good luck to you and thanks again. Billy Bucher
Happy Birthday! Even though you didn't have a party you should still get pointy party hats and get some people together to play pin the tail on the donkey and guess how many jelly beans are in the jar!
