About JULIET´S DOWNFALL

JULIET´S DOWNFALL was founded in early 2007 under the primal name LAKEDAIMON.

My intent was to create brutal music that is still melodic - something between OPETH and SLAYER, with a dash of ARCH ENEMY, AT THE GATES, CARCASS and DEATH.

In september 2008 and february 2009 I recorded my debut album "Trinity" at Ruptured Silence Studios (Trier/GER). Directed by Richard Pöschel 7 songs were recorded, which combine a multitude of different styles with autobiographical lyrics. The album is available on www.mp3.de and features everything the metal-heart needs, from massive blasts to touching ballad.

2009 will be affected by the work on my second album "Amber Vaults". Some of the songs are almost finished, so it should be possible to release it in 2010. The intended recording-period is spring 2010, once again at Ritchie´s Ruptured Silence Studios.

JULIET´S DOWNFALL wurde Anfang 2007 unter dem ursprünglichen Namen LAKEDAIMON gegründet.

Meine Absicht war es brutale Musik zu schreiben die immer noch melodisch ist - irgendwas zwischen OPETH und SLAYER, mit einer Prise ARCH ENEMY, AT THE GATES, CARCASS and DEATH.

Im September 2008 und Februar 2009 nahm ich in den Ruptured Silence Studios in Trier mein Debütalbum "Trinity" auf. Unter der Regie von Richard Pöschel wurden 7 Songs eingehämmert, die eine Vielzahl von unterschiedlichen Stilrichtungen mit autobiographischer Lyrik verbinden. Das Album steht auf www.mp3.de zum Download bereit und bietet von derbem Gerotze bis ergreifender Ballade alles was das Metal-Herz begehrt.

2009 wird von der Arbeit an meinem zweiten Album "Amber Vaults" geprägt sein. Einige der Songs stehen bereits zu einem Großteil und einer Veröffentlichung 2010 sollte nichts im Wege stehen. Geplanter Aufnahmezeitraum ist Frühjahr 2010, wieder einmal bei Ritchie in den Ruptured Silence Studios.
