I was so excited when I performed at the LA Music Awards on Thursday, November 20th. I sang "Into a Dream" with my amazing band, "Topanga"!! Just some background info on the songs:
Dream Big: I was fortunate enough to work with an amazing composer, Steve Dorff, who has worked with legends such as Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston, and Celene Dion. He wrote this song and I was so excited when he asked me to record it with him.
Listen- This is the song Beyonce sings in Dreamgirls (the movie) and I loved it when I saw it. I recorded it in August 2007.
Every Time I'm With You: I wrote this a few years ago and recorded it in January 2007
Into A Dream: I co-wrote this in January of last year. It was fun writing it because it was a collaboration and a different method for me.
Crystal Ball- This is one of my favorite songs to sing that I wrote a few years ago and it was recorded in January 2007.
Inattention- I wrote this when I was about nine or ten and recorded it in 2006. This was a new experience for me and I loved it =]
Thought You Were the One- This was the first song I ever wrote when I was nine and I recorded it at the same time as Inattention.
