About me: Welcome to the official space of Drummer, Percussionist, Producer and Musical Director JULIO FIGUEROA.
Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Internationally renowned Grammy and Latin Grammy Award Winner as a supporting Musician Giulio Figueroa Petrillo begun playing music at the age of ten.
Julio’s multicultural background allows him to adapt to any Percussive situation, and makes him a much sought after Drummer, Percussionist, Producer and Musical Director in the United States. Versatility is one of his strongest assets.
In 1993 he moved to Los Angeles and since then he has become part of the everyday contemporary life in the US.
His Music is heard on television, radio, movie soundtracks and jingles such as; Coca Cola, Sony, Clamato, Hughes Satellite, Medicare, Fox Sports, Remax, tequila Cuervo, One Touch, Johnson & Johnson, etc…
As one of the world top Drummers and Percussionists in business, Julio has performed critical roles both live and in the studio with some of today’s most popular artists including; BB King, Michael Jackson, Jose Feliciano, Donna Summer, Jennifer Lopez, Andrea Bocelli, Baby Face, Patti LaBelle, Katharine McPhee, Johnny Mathis, David Foster, Kenny O’Brien, The Castaways, Enrique Iglesias, Gloria Trevi, RBD, La 5ta Estación, Thalia, Joan Sebastian, Juan Gabriel, Celia Cruz, Alejandro Sans, Carl Verheyen, Michael W Smith, Ken Reynolds, Salvador, Tommy Walker, Rick Muchow, Kirk Whalum, Morris Chapman, Melvin Davis, Abraham Laboriel, Tom Brooks, Jon Montalban, Rique Pantoja, Alex Acuña, Justo Almario, João Alexandre, Baby do Brasil, etc…

Julio is currently the Musical Director for Musical Pop sensation “Diego”.
Diego was revealed at the reality show codigo Fama and later on was featured at the soap operas "Alegrijes y Rebujos", "Mision SOS" and “Rebelde”.
The band is now getting ready for the worldwide release of Diego's new album "Indigo" due in the month of february 2008.

Nice to bump into you on here Julio. Yes, I remember that gig and the nasty club. But what I remember most about that gig was the monitor I was Ramon Stagnaro yelling at me during the entire gig! LOL
We shared a monitor and the tweeter blew out in the middle of the first song. For the rest of the night I kept hearing "Man, jur keyboards soun' like chit man...don't jyou have any gud sounds? Man, get a better sound. JYour keys sound like chit man!! They sound like fuckin' chit!!"
Fuckin' guy couldn't understand that there were no highs! lol
